WELLBEING
Exciting New Editions to Our School Parent Library.
Below are two of four wonderful new books in our parent library from Kathy Hoopman. All of these books are updated version of the 2008 editions. They are designed to help both children and adults understand neurodiversity and how it may manifest in any given person; remembering that no two neurodiverse people are the same.
While both of these books are relatively simple and easy to read they contain a wealth of helpful information and insights for everyone! I highly recommend them to all families.
Please note you can access the parent library by speaking to Tundra or myself. The books are kept on the table in the front office, so feel free to have a look when you’re in the office sometime.
New Grief & Loss Resources for Parents from the Diocese
We know that grief and loss can be some of the most difficult experiences for children to face. To support families in having these important conversations, a series of videos and resources has been created for parents and carers.
These resources, which focus on bereavement, are now available in the Parent Resource Centre Link.
We encourage you to explore these materials and use them to support your child during times of loss. If you have any concerns about how your child is coping, please share them with us so we can work together to provide the care and support they need.
